P\u00fcnktlich zur Fashion Revolution Week 2021 legen wir unseren Podcast WE ARE FASHION REVOLUTION<\/a> neu auf. In der ersten Folge zum Thema Made in Bangladesh \u2013 Wie nachhaltig ist die Textilindustrie 8 Jahre nach Rana Plaza?<\/em> sprechen wir \u00fcber die Stunde Null der globalen Fair-Fashion-Revolution. Die Rana-Plaza-Katastrophe in Bangladesch war der bisher gr\u00f6\u00dfte Unfall in der internationalen Textilindustrie. Dabei starben mehr als 1.100 Menschen, 2.500 wurden verletzt. Vor allem junge Frauen waren betroffen. Sie produzierten haupts\u00e4chlich Kleidung f\u00fcr den Export. Zu den Modefirmen z\u00e4hlten Primark, Benetton, Mango, C&A und auch deutsche Unternehmen wie KiK oder Adler beziehungsweise deren Zulieferer. War das Ungl\u00fcck wirklich ein Weckruf f\u00fcr die Textilindustrie? Wie sind die Bedingungen heute vor Ort besonders in Corona-Zeiten? Kann man nachhaltige Mode in Bangladesch produzieren?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Journalistin und Gastgeberin dieser Folge Maria Osburg unterh\u00e4lt sich mit Max Gilgenmann, Vorsitzender von future fashion forward e.V. (Fashion Revolution Germany), Investigativ-Journalist Benedict Wermter und der brasilianischen Designerin Simone Simonato, die mit ihrem Label SICA nachhaltig in Bangladesch produziert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
