About the Hackathon<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Seam the Change<\/strong> is a catalyst for regenerative, sustainable, and inclusive<\/strong> urban textile & clothing (T&C) ecosystems. We bring together facilitators, SMEs, policy makers, creative practitioners, and end\u2011users to co-create practical, human\u2011centered solutions<\/strong> to the most pressing challenges in the local T&C sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the FABRIX platform<\/strong> embedded throughout, teams accelerate circular manufacturing<\/strong>, strengthen local supply chains<\/strong>, and build collaboration across industry, policy, education, and communities<\/strong>. Teams will also apply the Action Research Ecosystem Development lenses by the Athens University of Economics & Business (AUEB), Department of Management Science & Technology<\/strong> to ensure that solutions are context\u2011aware, evidence\u2011based, and ready to move from pilot to practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

International scope:<\/strong> We welcome 26 mentors and participants<\/strong> from across Europe \u2014 Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, Istanbul, Milano, Bolzano, Padova, North Macedonia and Stockholm \u2014 bringing leading academic, industry, and Fashion Revolution expertise into Athens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Community invitation:<\/strong> Greek local actors are invited to attend inspirational talks, take part in open activities, and discover the people, tools, and ideas shaping circular fashion in the city.<\/p>\n\n\n

We combine experiential learning<\/strong> (challenge\u2011based problem solving and hands\u2011on prototyping), peer\u2011to\u2011peer<\/strong> collaboration in mixed teams, and rotating mentoring<\/strong> on circular design, policy implementation, sustainable business models, and digital innovation.
